Fire Protection Flow Test in Garage:

• Where: Garage top floor, but water may flow down the ramps of the garage.
• When: Wednesday May 9
• Time: 8:00 am
• What: fire protection flow test in the garage. GEJ will block the deck of the parking garage around the fire protection riser. The test is expected to start around 8:00 and shouldn’t last for more than 1 hour total. During the test we will make every effort to control the water from cascading through the garage but there will be incidental water running down the ramps.

Ceiling Tiles:

• Ceiling Tiles will be dropped in sooner than later with the exception of some areas for inspection and hallways.
• Therefore, you will start to see ceiling tiles go in next week on the West side 9th floor down and then following will be the South, East and then North. Unfortunately the North Tiles will be out longer then the other sides so that work can be completed on the duct work. This is due to late award of this work and we will have to go back to finish.

Garage Reminder:

• The garage is secured to meet HSPD-12 guidelines. Therefore, no employees are to drive in behind someone without entering your own ID card. Employees must wait for the garage to close and then use your own card to open the door. If you are having issues with your badge, then please contact GSA.
• Please note that not all employees have access to the roll up garage door. Those that do not, are employees who just need access to the GOV cars. These employees must use the intercom system to have the guards let them in.

Installation of Ceiling Tiles:

• GSA has received approval to install ceiling tiles after the completion and inspections of the new fire suppression work. Therefore, tenants will begin to see installation of tiles from the West phase, to the South, East and then North. The contractors will have to back track to the North phase due the timing of the additional duct replacement scope of work.
• 9th floor West and South are coming soon!

• Room 843 ceiling tile is complete. We might have some top of wall patching and painting which can be done the week of the 21st.
